WASHINGTON, Oct 22 (Reuters) – US President Donald Trump has directed Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer to pursue negotiations on wind turbine imports and update him on their progress within 180 days, according to an executive order released by the White House on Thursday.
The order imposes no new tariffs, but Trump said in it that he may consider other remedies depending on the outcome of the talks.
