Oct 19 (Field Level Media) – The Milwaukee Brewers needed just four games to sweep the Los Angeles Dodgers, but the National League Championship Series still delivered its largest television audience in 11 years.
Milwaukee’s sweep averaged 7.533 million viewers across Fox, FS1 and Fox Deportes, according to Fox Sports. It was the largest average audience for a League Championship Series on any network since 2015.
The figure was up 77% compared with the first four games of the 2025 American League Championship Series on Fox and FS1, which averaged 4.261 million viewers. The Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners played in that series.
The strong numbers continued through Milwaukee’s pennant-clinching 6-4 victory Thursday at Dodger Stadium.
Game 4 drew 6.364 million viewers across FS1 and Fox Deportes. The FS1 telecast alone averaged 6.135 million viewers, making it the most-watched Game 4 of an LCS on any network since 2018.
That was up 107% from the 2.964 million viewers who watched Game 4 of last year’s ALCS on FS1.
Thursday’s audience peaked at 7.322 million on FS1 between 11 and 11:08 p.m. ET.
Milwaukee denied the two-time defending World Series champion Dodgers a chance at a third straight title.
The Brewers instead advanced to the World Series for the first time since 1982. Milwaukee, which won an MLB-best 103 regular-season games, will seek its first World Series championship in franchise history.
The 2026 NLCS reversed the result from a year earlier, when Los Angeles swept Milwaukee in four games on its way to a second straight title.
