GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A driver faces attempted murder charges after Grand Forks Police say he struck two pedestrians.
Officers responded to the 1600 block of 16th St. S. around 5:45 PM on Wednesday, September 24. A 911 caller said a car struck a person and a tree and the driver ran.
Authorities say a vehicle and the entrance to an apartment building were also struck.
Ian Schneeweis was taken into custody a few blocks away.
He and the pedestrians were taken to the hospital.
