Myles Smith says touring with Ed Sheeran helped him learn how to relax and enjoy performing in front of large crowds. Speaking about their time on the road together, Smith said watching Sheeran entertain audiences of nearly 100,000 people gave him a new perspective on live music.
During a recent interview, Smith explained that Sheeran’s sense of fun onstage made the strongest impression. Seeing an experienced performer remain present and enjoy the moment encouraged Smith to bring the same attitude to his own concerts.
The British singer previously opened for Sheeran during the European leg of his 2025 tour. They have also performed together at festivals and other live events.
Smith now has a packed summer schedule. He is leading his own North American tour while also opening selected stadium dates on Sheeran’s LOOP tour. His final stadium appearance with Sheeran is scheduled for August 29 at Ford Field in Detroit.
Smith will complete his current run of headlining shows on September 10 in Los Angeles.
