BISMARCK (KFGO) – North Dakota schools will be allowed to reopen in the fall.
That announcement came from Gov. Doug Burgum. He ordered all K-12 schools closed due to the pandemic March 15. Burgum says school districts will have to form health and safety plans that will need state approval. He says districts will be asked to put together hybrid reopening plans that would allow for in-class instruction and distance learning.
There are 175 school districts with 430 buildings across the state.
