Frederick Doe has received a suspended sentence for his involvement in the theft of an 18-carat gold toilet from Blenheim Palace in England. Doe was previously found guilty of conspiracy to transfer criminal property during the theft of the golden toilet in 2019. However, Judge Ian Pringle KC ruled that others who were more involved in the heist may have taken advantage of his “good nature.” “You had a limited function, you had no personal gain, you had no wider involvement and you were involved for a short period,” the judge said. Doe had given information to one of the thieves on who they could sell the stolen gold to. Doe still must complete 240 hours of unpaid work. (metro.co.uk)
