The Zhuyuwan Scenic Area in China is asking for help locating a capybara that has been on the loose for more than 40 days. Doubao has evaded capture for eight weeks, but zookeepers believe he’s safe and is not a threat to others. “Investigations indicate that Doubao carries no dangerous weapons and poses no threat to the public,” the zoo joked on Weibo. There are plenty of plants nearby for Doubao to snack on, but employees still urge him to come home. “We urge Doubao to surrender himself voluntarily…Coming back to live a good life with a regular job is the kingly way!” Officials are awarding free admission to the zoo to anyone with information on Doubao.
