MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO) – Police in Moorhead are requesting the public’s assistance in searching for a possible suspect in the homicide of a woman in her south Moorhead home.
Concerned family members went to check on the woman and found her dead late Thursday night. Officers called to the residence on the 3800 block of 32nd Street S. around 11 p.m. observed traumatic injuries on the woman’s body but found no sign of forced entry into the house.
The Moorhead Police Department is investigating the homicide with the assistance of the Minnesota Bureau of Apprehension. The woman’s body will be transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Police are requesting assistance locating James Kollie Jr., age 25, who may be driving the victim’s black 2016 Honda Pilot with Minnesota plate HFE185.
