BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – The winner of a $1 million Powerball prize in Wahpeton has come forward.
The state lottery office says the winner from the Wednesday night draw took a long drive to Bismarck to claim the money. The winner is from Stillwater, Minnesota. The person, who chose to remain anonymous, hit it big with a quick pick ticket. The winner has no immediate plans for the money.
The ticket was purchased at the Cenex convenience store on the Highway 210 Bypass.
