GRAFTON, N.D. (KFGO) – A suspect in a drive-by shooting in Grafton was arrested late Wednesday afternoon without incident.
Juan Pablo Martinez, 30, is charged with Attempted Murder and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He’s being held in the Walsh County Jail. Police Chief Anthony Dumas says Martinez and the male victim know each other. He was not injured.
The shooting incident happened near the Grafton public school complex on the town’s southwest side and went into lock-down. The Walsh County Courthouse and other county offices were also locked down briefly.
The shelter-in-place order was lifted after law enforcement determined there was no threat to the public.
