FARGO, N.D. (KFG0) – Widespread blowing snow is causing some visibility problems in open country across eastern North Dakota and parts of Northwest Minneota. . The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Red River Valley until 9 this morning. A no travel advisory has been lifted but drivers are urged to use caution. A travel alert is in effect.
Fargo Public Works cautions drivers that streets remain ice covered and will remain that way as there is not much crews can do to de-ice the road surfaces because of the bitter cold.
