ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – A man has pleaded guilty to second degree murder charges in a Bagley murder case in Minnesota’s Clearwater County. Christyan Logan, 25, admitted to the crime Friday.
In September of last year, Logan and Tray McCollum, 26, got into an argument in the car, causing Logan to pull over and assault McCollum by repeatedly punching and stomping him. Logan continued to punch and stomp after McCollum was unconscious. McCollum later died from his injuries suffered during the assault. Medical staff told law enforcement McCollum had signs of head trauma. Logan was later arrested in Fosston.
Ellison called Logan’s actions ‘horrifying’ and says he will be held accountable for his actions. Ellison’s office was asked to prosecute the case by Clearwater County Attorney Karin Hughes.
