FERGUS FALLS, MN (KBRF) – A Fergus Falls man has been arrested for taking pictures of women with a cellphone hidden in a women’s restroom.
The Fergus Falls Police Department says that on July 2, officers received a report of suspicious activity at a business in the 200 block of West Cavour Avenue. They learned that a 15-year-old girl had used the restroom in the business and noticed a hidden cellphone.
The phone was seized and the suspect, 39-year-old Ramon Zavala of Fergus Falls, was arrested. Police say Zavala is no longer employed at the business and has been charged with felony interference with the privacy of a minor with sexual intent, interference with the privacy of a minor, and three additional counts of gross misdemeanor interference with privacy.
Police say that after reviewing the seized phone, other images of females using the restroom between June 30 and July 2 were recovered. Anyone with concerns or information regarding this case is asked to contact lead Detective Walker Heinen at 218-332-5512.
