MOORETON, ND (KFGO) – A firefighter had to be treated after a blaze broke out in the upstairs living quarters of a local bar and grill.
Emergency crews responded to the Antelope Creek Bar and Grill in Mooreton, where smoke was visible coming from the upper level of the building, according to Richland County Emergency Management Director Brett Lambrecht.
One firefighter was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of heat exhaustion. No other serious injuries were reported.
Fire departments from Mooreton, Dwight, Wyndmere, Great Bend, and Wahpeton responded to the scene, along with Richland County emergency personnel.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
