Former Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R-Minn.)
WASHINGTON (KFGO) – Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty is heading back to the private sector as the new President and CEO of the Solar Energy Industries Association.
The national trade organization represents the country’s solar and energy storage industry and promotes renewable energy growth.
Pawlenty, a Republican, will begin the role on June 15.
He served as governor from 2003 through 2011 and has previously led several national business and financial organizations.
