BRAINERD, Minn. (KFGO) – The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office in central Minnesota is investigating at least two shootings that left one person with a gunshot wound to the leg and a vehicle damaged.
The sheriff’s office says deputies responded to a report of shots fired on County Road 2 that left the rear window of a vehicle shattered. While the deputies were responding, Mille Lacs Tribal Police were at the scene with a separate vehicle and a person who was shot in the leg. The victim was taken to Onamia hospital.
The sheriff’s office says it is continuing to gather information and there is no threat to the public.
