Taylor Swift has made a series of generous and timely donations to children’s charities in Nashville and Kansas City over the holiday season. The pop superstar made a significant contribution to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt’s Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program, which helps patients aged 15 to 25. “We are so grateful to Taylor Swift for her generous gifts to Monroe Carell. She is a true partner as we strive to provide a brighter, healthier future for the children and communities we serve,” said Juan C. Salazar, the hospital’s chair. “These gifts are so timely – of course, it is the holiday season, when a hospital stay is especially tough. This makes a difference for us all.” Additionally, Swift made a substantial donation to Operation Breakthrough in Kansas City, an organization supporting children in poverty with education and creativity programs. “We are so grateful for your kindness and for championing creativity, education, and opportunity for our over 750 students,” the organization shared on Instagram.
