Netflix will begin streaming four James Bond movies on January 15th through an unexpected licensing agreement with Amazon MGM Studios. The three-month deal covers Die Another Day, No Time to Die, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall. Amazon will also provide Netflix with Rocky, Creed, and Legally Blonde films plus original series including The Man In The High Castle. Amazon insiders called licensing the Bond catalog a “strategic business decision designed to broaden global reach and reengage audiences.” Prime Video typically only streams the full catalog of Bond films for two months annually around October’s Bond Day through Thanksgiving.
