Kristin Cabot, former head of HR for Astronomer, has broken her silence about the viral Coldplay kiss cam moment that upended her life. Cabot and then-CEO Andy Byron were caught cuddling on the Jumbotron during the band’s July 16 concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts. When they quickly separated on camera, singer Chris Martin remarked, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.” The TikTok video gained 100 million views within days. “I made a bad decision and had a couple of High Noons and danced and acted inappropriately with my boss,” Cabot said. “I was so embarrassed and so horrified. I’m the head of HR and he’s the CEO. It’s, like, so cliché.” Both executives resigned following the incident. Cabot said her children “were afraid that I was going to die” due to online harassment and death threats she received. (Story URL)
