LaKeith Stanfield will portray NBA legend Dennis Rodman in 48 Hours In Vegas after Jonathan Majors was removed following his 2023 assault conviction. The comedy draws inspiration from Rodman’s famous Las Vegas trip during the 1998 NBA Finals while his Chicago Bulls pursued their second consecutive threepeat championship in eight years. “I’m genuinely excited to help create an exhilarating, joyful work that both honors and thoughtfully examines the legacy of Rodman and fellow trailblazers,” Stanfield stated. The Oscar-nominated actor is known for Judas and the Black Messiah, Atlanta, and Get Out. Majors was convicted of harassment and assault charges and sentenced to domestic violence counseling in April 2024. (Story URL)
