During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Tuesday (December 9), Christina Aguilera revealed that she is planning to release a deeply personal new album alongside a career-spanning documentary produced by Time Studios and Roc Nation. The documentary, which has been in the works for several years, explores her journey from teen stardom to motherhood and a new creative phase, with Aguilera revealing that opening up on camera has profoundly influenced her music. “It’s going to be a really personal project coming up because it’ll tie in with a very personal documentary that we’ve been filming for the last few years,” shared the 44-year-old Grammy winner. The documentary is directed by Ting Poo, who in 2022 said of the project, “Christina Aguilera is one of the most iconic artists of our time. I am truly honored to tell the story of the person behind the music.” (Rolling Stone)
