JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFGO) – A 19-year-old Jamestown woman is in the Stutsman County Correctional Center after reportedly shooting a gun in town.
Court documents say that Nicole Juenger was with a man when he asked her if she wanted to shoot the gun on the south side of an apartment building in the 1500 block of 11th Ave NE. Juenger reportedly agreed and shot the gun south, where there are apartments, gas stations and schools. Police say there was also a high school soccer game going on at the time the shot was fired.
Jamestown Police responded to the area just before 9 p.m. Thursday. Multiple people allegedly told police that Juenger fired the shot.
Court documents say Juenger acknowledged she had shot the gun at a highly populated area. She was arrested and is facing a felony reckless endangerment charge. Juenger pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges Friday of shooting a gun in a city, and disorderly conduct.
