FARGO – The Fargo Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in connection with an early morning gunfire incident in north Fargo.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 3:58 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, in the 1100 block of 19th Ave. N. Investigators discovered multiple shell casings and confirmed multiple bullet strikes to a nearby building.
Surveillance footage released by authorities shows a male suspect who investigators believe fled the area shortly after the gunfire in a blue Subaru WRX or STI. Photos distributed by police depict the individual wearing dark clothing, including a hooded jacket with the hood pulled up, dark pants, and carrying a bag over his shoulder.
Additional images show a blue four-door performance sedan driving near the location around the time of the shooting.
No injuries have been reported, and police have not yet disclosed a potential motive for the incident.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of the individual pictured or the vehicle involved is urged to contact the Fargo Police Department at 701-241-5777. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by texting the keyword FARGOPD along with the tip information to 847411.
Authorities are asking residents and business owners in the surrounding neighborhood to review any security camera or doorbell footage recorded around the time of the incident.
