PELICAN RAPIDS, Minn. (KFGO) – A Minneapolis pilot is recovering today after a small plane crash in Otter Tail County.
Sheriff’s deputies say David Ness, 73, suffered non-life-threatening injuries Sunday evening when his plane went down in a farm field about three miles north of pelican rapids.
Ness was taken to Lake Region hospital in Fergus Falls.
Authorities located the aircraft Monday morning.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office and the FAA are investigating.
Along with the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s office, Pelican Rapids Police Department, Pelican Rapids Fire Department, and Pelican Rapids Ambulance assisted.
