Bad Bunny has added an Emmy to his growing list of honors after his 2026 Super Bowl LX Halftime Show earned seven awards at the Creative Arts Emmys.
During the September 5 ceremony, the live production won Outstanding Variety Special (Live), giving the Puerto Rican artist his first Primetime Emmy. The halftime show swept all seven categories in which it was nominated, making it one of the evening’s most successful productions.
The program also received awards for directing, music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, technical direction and camerawork. Bad Bunny was credited as both a performer and producer on the special.
The February performance featured music from across his career while placing Puerto Rican culture at the center of the staging and presentation. Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin also appeared during the show.
The seven Emmy wins set a new record for the most awards earned by a Super Bowl halftime production, adding another major television honor to the annual live music event.
