KINDRED, N.D. (KFGO) – A Kindred man is facing terrorizing charges after reportedly threatening his mother and another woman.
Cass County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a Kindred home Monday just before 11 a.m. for a reported disturbance involving Zane Abshire, 33.
Court Documents say Abshire’s mom told deputies that she was planning to sell the home Abshire was living in, which she owns, and she had come over to the home to clean it so it can be sold. Abshire reportedly became angry and grabbed a glass bottle, waving it around and threatening to kill his mother and another woman at the home, causing them to fear for their own safety.
Deputies say Abshire has previously been charged with assault against his mother.
While speaking with deputies, Abshire said that the women should be charged with terrorizing for cleaning the house and making him upset.
Abshire was arrested and searched, deputies reportedly located methamphetamine and two meth pipes in his pockets. He was taken to the Cass County Jail.
