Aug 13 (Reuters) – Australia’s bourse operator ASX reported a more than 5% rise in annual underlying profit on Thursday as heightened market volatility boosted trading activity, sending its shares to their highest level in more than three months.
ASX reported underlying net profit after tax of A$536.4 million ($378.86 million) for the year ended June 30, compared with A$510 million reported a year earlier.
