REDWOOD COUNTY, Minn. – At Farmfest, Republican Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach said President Donald Trump has used tariffs to bring countries to the bargaining table on trade.
“For four years under Biden, there were zero free trade agreements,” Fischbach said while being booed. “I’m sorry, but is that appropriate? Is that appropriate to interrupt me?”
Democratic-endorsed candidate for Minnesota’s 7th Congressional District Erik Osberg responded on “Afternoons Live”.
“That might be a byproduct when people don’t feel like they’ve being heard for a long time. When they finally get that opportunity, there’s some pent up frustration there,” Osberg said.
Osberg says if elected, he’d ask to serve on the House Agriculture Committee which Fischbach doesn’t, but previously did.
