ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO/Learfield) – The Minnesota DNR says hot summer weather is creating deadly conditions for some fish in the state.
The DNR says they’ve received more than 200 reports of fish deaths this year, with warm water and low oxygen levels contributing to deaths in lakes and rivers.
The DNR is asking Minnesotans to report fish deaths online. Anglers are also being asked to use caution when catch and release fishing in extreme heat.
