FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KFGO/KBRF)A Fergus Falls man has been sentenced for burgling his former employer.
Yesterday Justin Hanson, 40, was sentenced to 30 months in prison for committing 2nd degree burglary at a Casey’s in Fergus Falls
The sentence comes after Hanson pleaded not guilty in June, but admits on the record that the prosecution has enough evidence to likely secure a conviction at trial.
Prosecutors say Hanson and two others, Jennifer Loomer and Ryan McGuire, broke into the Casey’s in December 2024 and stole $5,000 in cash and over 30 cartons of cigarettes. Hanson and Loomer were former employees of Casey’s who had been terminated prior to the incident.
