(KNFL/KFGO) – The Minnesota Wild made three selections in the 2026 NHL Draft. Minnesota didn’t have a 1st or 2nd round pick, as those were traded to acquire Quinn Hughes from Vancouver, and Gustav Nyquist from Nashville.
The Wild initially had the 89th overall pick, but traded up to get the 83rd pick from the Los Angeles Kings, to select Swedish center Adam Andersson. In the 4th round, Minnesota traded up again by sending their 121st overall pick, as well as their 6th round pick to Columbus in exchange for the 112th overall selection. The Wild would end up drafting forward Kayden Lemire out of the Western Hockey League(WHL). Minnesota would use their final pick, that being the 137th overall pick, to select goalie Filip Ruzicka, who is also out of the WHL.
