FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) – A Horace man has changed his plea to guilty for manslaughter in the shooting death of his girlfriend at their apartment last November.
Derrick Lobbo, 21, also pleaded guilty to child neglect, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment charges were dropped. Sakeena Khaadi, 23, was killed by a gunshot.
Lobbo left the apartment after the shooting and went to a nearby clinic, seeking help. His 2-year-old daughter was still in the apartment when deputies arrived.
A sentencing date for Lobbo has not been scheduled.
