LAKE PARK, Minn. (KFGO) – Two people were taken to the hospital after a five car pileup in Lake Park, Minnesota.
The State Patrol says at the intersection of Highway 10 and 2nd Street just after 12:30 p.m., a rear end chain reaction happened involving five cars.
Deforest Malstrom, 86, of Detroit Lakes and Randal Doeden, 35, of Moorhead both suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash. They were taken to Detroit Lakes Hospital for treatment. Four other people involved were not injured.
Along with the State Patrol, the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, Lake Park Police, Detroit Lakes Fire and Essentia Ambulance responded.
