(KNFL/KFGO) – Minnesota Wild forward Marcus Johansson won’t return to the Minnesota Wild next year, as he signed a 1-year contract with Farjestad, which is part of the SHL(Swedish Hockey League).
The 35-year old forward, who was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent July 1st, put up 49 total points last season with Minnesota, which is the 2nd most in a season for Johansson. The most points he tallied, was with Washington in the 2016-17 season, where he put up 58 points.
Johansson has played for 4 other NHL teams, including the Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, Seattle Kraken, and the New Jersey Devils.
