Trenton Malvin (Richland County jail)
WAHPETON, N.D. (KFGO) – A southeast North Dakota man is in the Richland County jail after a police chase and crash Thursday night in Richland County.
The Sheriff’s Office says Wahpeton Police tried to stop a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Trenton Malvin, but he drove off. Police followed Malvin west on Highway 13 and then onto Interstate 29 where sheriff’s deputies joined the chase.
The chase reached speeds up to 115 miles an hour.
The Sheriff’s Office says Malvin was arrested after his vehicle left the interstate and crashed into a slough.
