FARGO (KFGO) – Jade Nielsen, owner of Jade Presents, says the company is closing.
The live entertainment company has been in business for over 30 years.
Nielsen says the industry has changed dramatically in recent years.
“Rising costs, shifting touring economics, post-COVID challenges, and increasing pressure on independent promoters created an environment that ultimately became unsustainable. Our team fought hard to keep going, and we are proud of the passion, sacrifice, and heart that went into that effort. We also want to acknowledge the human side of this. While navigating an extraordinarily complicated business closure, we are also mourning the loss of a company, a mission, and work we truly loved.”
Nielsen says Bluestem and UP District festival field shows will not be moving forward. There are ongoing conversations and unknowns regarding Fargo Theatre and Aquarium events.
