MEDORA, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol says people suffered minor injuries in a DUI crash involving a school bus in the Western part of the state.
A Billings County school bus was turning off Highway 85 when it was hit in the back by a pickup. The bus was pushed into the southbound lane and struck by a semi. The bus sustained damage to the front and back end. The highway patrol says the driver of the pickup was distracted by a phone and arrested for driving under the influence.

The driver and two students in the bus were evaluated for minor injuries on the scene. The pickup driver suffered minor injuries, the highway patrol says their breath alcohol content was .112. Highway 85 was reduced to one lane while the crash was investigated.
