MOORHEAD (KFGO/KVRR) — A Moorhead man who abandoned his vehicle after a chase with police was arrested after being found hiding inside a deep freeze.
Police say 36-year-old Antoine Reddogg was seen last week Wednesday in the 3300 block of Highway 10 preventing a woman from getting out of a vehicle. A bystander stepped in to help, but Reddogg pulled the woman inside and sped off.
Reddogg was soon spotted by a Clay County deputy and a pursuit began with the passenger still trying to get out of the vehicle.
As speeds increased heading toward Fargo, officers discontinued the pursuit, but knew which direction Reddogg’s vehicle went. The vehicle was found abandoned in the 1600 block of 3rd Street N. in Moorhead.
Reddogg was seen running into a nearby home, and officers set up a perimeter. After a search, officers located him hiding inside a deep freezer. He was arrested for felony fleeing, false imprisonment, and domestic assault by strangulation.
Reddogg also had pending charges from the North Dakota Department of Corrections. He was taken to the Cass County jail.
