BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – North Dakota law enforcement issued 830 citation last month during a ‘Put the Phone Away or Pay’ distracted driving enforcement campaign.
300 of the citations were issued for distracted driving, 190 for speeding, 135 for other traffic citations like equipment violations and 60 for not wearing a seatbelt. Four arrests were made, three for driving under the influence and one drug related arrest.
