FARGO (KFGO) — Fargo Police say an officer stopped a driver who was clocked going 70 mph in a 40 mph zone on South University Drive.
The driver was stopped between 40th Ave S and 52nd Ave S Thursday evening.
Police say driving that fast puts lives at risk. “That kind of speed doesn’t just break the law, it puts everyone on the road at risk,” FPD said in a social media post.
Fargo Police Department’s Traffic Safety Team targets driving violations in Fargo. The 6 officers on the team are fully funded by a federal grant.
