Susan Erica Avalon, 51, faces second-degree homicide charges after authorities say she killed two former husbands in separate Florida counties within hours. Manatee County Sheriff Rick Wells said deputies found a 54-year-old man with gunshot wounds at his Heritage Harbor home. When asked who shot him, the victim said “Possibly my ex-wife” before dying at a hospital. His 15-year-old daughter, also Avalon’s child, witnessed the attack and saw a masked person in gray leaving in a silver Honda Odyssey. Police later found Avalon cleaning the same minivan with bleach at her Citrus County home. When told they wanted to discuss her ex-husband, she allegedly asked “Which one?” prompting a welfare check that revealed her other former spouse shot dead in Tampa. (Story URL)
