Missouri authorities summoned cowboys Wednesday after a collision between two tractor-trailers on Interstate 70 in Oak Grove released 13 cattle onto the highway. The Missouri Highway Patrol confirmed the crash caused the bovines to escape from one truck, prompting officials to contact B&W Land & Cattle from Butler for assistance. Cowboy Kolby Boos explained the challenge to KCTV, saying “We like to help out the ones in need. It’s always a challenge because you never know where they’re at or how they’re going to be or if they’re going to be mad and want to fight you… You don’t know.” The crew successfully captured all escaped cattle. Both truck drivers escaped injury in the incident. (Story URL)
