Lumpkin County Sheriff Stacy Jarrard announced investigators have obtained search warrants in the case of Shaquille O’Neal’s stolen custom Range Rover. The 2025 SUV, worth approximately $180,000, disappeared during transport to Dahlonega, Georgia, about 70 miles northeast of Atlanta. “We have search warrants for information to try to identify people of interest,” Jarrard told The Athletic. California-based Effortless Motors was customizing the vehicle for O’Neal’s 7-foot-1 frame before shipping it to Louisiana for an LSU football game. The transport company, FirstLine Trucking LLC, reported its computer system was hacked around the time the SUV vanished. “One hundred percent, he cooperated,” Jarrard said about O’Neal’s involvement with authorities. Officials suspect a “double brokering” shipping scam. Effortless Motors offers a $10,000 reward for information leading to recovery. (Story URL)
