Fart Puts the “Ass” in Assault: PA Man Attacks Elderly Farter at Plasma Center
A far turned into a beatdown at a CSL Plasma center in Pennsylvania after an elderly man let one rip — and a fellow customer didn’t take it lightly.
According to police, Chazz Pearson, 39, was waiting in line at the East End Centre location on May 16 when the man in front of him passed gas. The elderly man reportedly apologized for the stink, but Pearson allegedly responded by punching him in the head.
It didn’t stop there, the man’s son tried to step in and was also struck by Pearson, according to the criminal complaint. The entire fart-fueled fiasco was caught on surveillance cameras.
Pearson now faces charges of simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct. His preliminary hearing is set for July 7 in Luzerne County.
Let this be a lesson: don’t throw hands over passing gas, just pass judgment quietly like the rest of us.
