The High Line in Manhattan is celebrating the city’s most common bird: the pigeon. Pigeon Fest will be held from noon to 8 p.m. on June 14th and will include “a pigeon impersonation pageant.” There will also be a Pigeon Dance Party and a puppet show by Tina Piña Trachtenberg. “Love them or hate them, people are fascinated by our feathered friends,” park executive director Alan van Capelle said.
