Ex-con Kaheid Ash has been accused of flying a drone over Martin County Institution and dropping contraband into the Florida prison yard. Ash is associated with as many as eight drops of cell phones, cigarettes, and other items. Ash claims he has only been in the area a few times to “practice flying his drone”, but police say his car was detected there on a greater number of occasions. Ash is currently being held without bond, and was himself released from prison in 2017. (The Smoking Gun)
