Cows in the village of Blatten were airlifted by helicopter following the threat of a rockslide. The entire village was ordered to be evacuated due to unstable terrain. 300 people and 52 cows were successfully transported. While some bovines walked on foot, some had to be lifted using choppers. It’s unclear when the cattle and humans will be able to return home. (UPI)
