We’ve all been guilty of a little nose-picking now and then, but one man in China took it to an extreme—so extreme that he had to be rushed into surgery.
The man, from northern China, managed to pick his nose so aggressively that he hit an artery. While minor nosebleeds are common, this guy went way too deep, causing a serious bleed that wouldn’t stop. Desperate for help, he ended up in the hospital, where doctors had to operate to repair the torn artery.
But the real kicker? His own wife outed him in the most humiliating way—by posting a video of him in his hospital bed on China’s version of TikTok. She even mocked him for refusing to break his compulsive habit.
Thankfully, he’s fine now, but let this be a lesson: some habits are best left alone. And if your spouse tells you to quit picking, maybe listen—before you end up on the internet for all the wrong reasons!
