Florida Man Learns Snow and Doughnuts Don’t Mix in Creek-Side Crash
Snow in Florida is rare, and it seems like some folks aren’t quite sure how to handle it—like one pickup truck driver in Walton County who decided the slick roads were perfect for doughnuts. Spoiler alert: they weren’t.
According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the driver attempted the snowy stunt late at night, only to slide right off the road and into a nearby creek. Thankfully, no one was injured, except perhaps the driver’s ego.
The Sheriff’s Office used the incident to issue a lighthearted but serious reminder to stay off hazardous roads during wintry weather. In a now-viral social media post, they quipped, “Perhaps don’t zoomy zoom on the slicky slick so you don’t end up in the ditchy ditch. You may end up in the snowy snow waiting on a towy tow.”
As the tow truck pulled the unfortunate pickup from the creek, the sheriff’s post quickly gained attention online, proving once again that Florida never fails to deliver both laughs and life lessons.
