Repeat Offender Caught Hiding Under Women’s Vehicles to Watch Their Feet
A man with a history of bizarre voyeuristic behavior is back behind bars after being caught hiding under women’s SUVs at a car wash in Gilbert, Arizona.
Jesse Michael Johnson, 28, has been arrested numerous times for similar offenses, including incidents dating back to 2016 in Nebraska, where he admitted he’s “sexually attracted to women’s feet” and unable to “control his sexual desires.” This summer, Johnson targeted a car wash in Gilbert, where police investigated three separate reports of a man crawling under vehicles as women vacuumed their cars.
Surveillance footage shows Johnson slipping underneath the victims’ SUVs, spending several minutes beneath the vehicles, and then climbing out only when the women were wrapping up.
Chanelle, one of the victims, shared her shock and discomfort: “At one point, you can see his head pop out on the driver’s side, looking up at me…I never would have thought in a million years that there would be someone underneath my car.”
Police arrested Johnson on charges of voyeurism and disorderly conduct. He is currently held on a $10,000 bond with a preliminary hearing set for October 3.
